This is a planning range, subject to your hotel address, traffic, reservations and pace. The final quote confirms your itinerary and reserved hours.
Plan an early enough departure to leave useful time on the coast.
Walk around the Vieux Bassin and select nearby streets rather than adding a distant detour.
Choose Deauville’s promenade or replace part of that visit with Trouville-sur-Mer.
Agree the collection point and return window before the final waterfront walk.
Honfleur and Deauville suit a day built around walking, harbour views and a meal by the coast. This is a different outing from a D-Day itinerary: the aim is to enjoy two nearby coastal settings, not cover Normandy's military-history sites as well. A private chauffeur handles the road journey from your Paris hotel and the connection between stops.
Allow a proposed 10–12 hours overall, subject to your hotel, traffic, restaurant booking and the final itinerary. Much of the day is still the outward and return journey. If your priority is a long lunch and unhurried photography, reduce the number of walking circuits rather than extending each stop until the return becomes difficult.
The Vieux Bassin gives the first stop a natural centre. Walk the quays, then choose a short route through the old streets and the Sainte-Catherine area. The Honfleur tourism office's one-day suggestions explain how the harbour and historic centre connect. You do not need to add a museum or a hilltop walk unless that is a particular interest.
Tell us whether you want lunch in Honfleur or at the second coastal stop. Reserving one meal gives the day an anchor, but allow time to finish your walk before the table booking. If you want a local guided visit, arrange it separately and give us the guide's meeting time and location.
Deauville is a useful choice for a boardwalk and beach-focused afternoon. Normandy Tourism's guide to Les Planches introduces the promenade. Decide whether the group wants to stay on the boardwalk or spend time on the sand; the latter changes footwear, walking effort and the collection plan.
Trouville-sur-Mer can replace part of the Deauville programme if you prefer another harbour-side setting and a meal there. Do not assume a full Honfleur visit, a long lunch, extensive shopping in Deauville and a separate Trouville tour will all fit comfortably. Pick the two experiences that matter most and keep the third optional.
| Preference | Route emphasis |
|---|---|
| Old-town streets and harbour photographs | More time in Honfleur, shorter Deauville walk |
| Beach and promenade | Focused Honfleur stop, longer Deauville afternoon |
| A meal in Trouville | Replace part of the Deauville visit |
Coastal wind and rain can change an outdoor afternoon. Bring layers and choose a programme that can shorten the beach walk without spoiling the whole day. Honfleur's older streets and quays may involve uneven surfaces; walking on sand requires more effort than a paved promenade. Describe mobility needs before booking, including whether a passenger needs frequent seated breaks.
For families, agree meal timing and child-seat requirements before departure. A short harbour loop with a break can be more enjoyable than a long sequence of stops. Private transport does not mean the vehicle can enter every narrow street or collect passengers directly on the beach.
Send your hotel, date, passenger details and lunch preference. Transport, guiding, restaurant bills and attraction tickets should be distinguished in the written offer. For a one-way journey, use Paris to Honfleur or Paris to Deauville.
Choose our Normandy D-Day day trip for battlefield history, or Rouen for an inland historic-city day. Compare the formats on day trips from Paris.
We propose a 10–12-hour planning range including the return journey. Your hotel, traffic, lunch reservation and desired walking time determine the confirmed schedule.
Trouville can replace part of the Deauville programme, particularly if you prefer lunch there. We plan the stops around your priorities rather than automatically including three full town visits.
This programme focuses on Honfleur and the seaside around Deauville. Choose the separate Normandy D-Day itinerary for battlefield sites; adding them would substantially change the route and time needed.
Tell us the ages, child-seat needs and walking limits. We can propose shorter circuits and breaks, but old streets, quays and beach sand require different levels of effort. Vehicle collection points must respect local access.
Send your date, Paris hotel and passenger count. Add the stops that matter most, any existing reservations, children’s ages and guide or access needs in the journey notes. We review the schedule and vehicle availability before sending a written proposal.
The hours below are a starting point for your request. Adjust them to your plans; they do not reserve a fixed package. Tickets, tastings, guides, meals and accommodation are separate unless listed in your confirmation.
